Student Representatives have influenced change all across our campus, from access, facilities, academic delivery, supports and services. As a representative, you get to work with the University and become part of the decision making.

As your full-time/paid representatives, the Full-Time Officers: Run campaign initatives to influence change across UAL (following the manifesto's they were elected on). Every spring, we survey students during our dedicated Survey Season. By completing one of our surveys, you can inspire change – your feedback will help us to improve UAL for you and future students. We’re dedicated to finding out what our students think, so we can improve their experience of studying at UAL. The annual Arts’ Awards give students the opportunity to recognize the UAL staff who have made all the difference to their experience at UAL. Students nominate the staff who have gone above and beyond for an award, and the winners are selected by a panel, including Course Reps from across UAL. Quality Audit and Review is one of the principal ways in which the University assures the standards of its awards and the quality of the student experience. Reviews are undertaken of each school roughly every six years. A Students’ Union Officer is a member of the Review Team, and the Review Team meets with a group of students during its visit.
